Our customer is one of the top 5 shipping companies in the world and they are seeking a Sales Support Coordinator, in their Auckland CBD office, to support their business development team. 

You will need 2-3 years full time work experience in NZ in a similar sales support or customer service role. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and energetic professional to be part of a collaborative team.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide internal sales support to business development team. Assist with administration and maintenance. Assist in preparation of proposals and RFP responses Work collaboratively with other departments within the company to complete assigned tasks. Develop and maintain and sales lead lists. Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years full time work experience in NZ in a sales support or customer service role.

You should have at least five years solid entry writing New Zealand experience as a Customs Broker, along with excellent verbal, written and time management skills. You should also have a good understanding of all aspects of brokerage within our industry including: • Food imports clearances – MPI and FSA requirements (eBACC) • MPI and Customs inspections, CFS devans and redistribution • Invoicing and administration - handling client queries from quotes, tracking to account enquiries. • Classification of new clients products, setting up ORGs and contacts, handling upfront cash accounts • Key Account management from start to finish. 

This role would suit someone from a small company background or developed through larger companies with these skills that has handled all brokerage requirements and possesses a broad tariff and industry knowledge of our industry to be able to handle the above requirements.
