This is a new role leading a team of seven accounts payable/receivables, while looking at improving and streamlining their processes. These systems are automated to other parts of this unique business and therefore would benefit from some-one with a knowledge around transport and logistics for it to work more efficiently.

The company currently uses XERO along with some very complex spreadsheets using EXCEL at an advanced level. This role will proactively manage day to day customer service queries, responding and resolving issues in timely manner through effective and efficient coordination across operations and finance teams. Additionally, you will manage the day to day transport service demands of the customer sites from general enquiries (including claims and cargo returns) to execution and receipt of PoD (proof of delivery) from carriers via electronic or other means per set standard operating procedures. It is important that you manage exceptions, demand and capacity peaks, troughs and risks outside the pre-defined standard operating procedures to ensure customer service demand is met at the right cost.
