Manager Warehouse and Port Logistics
SERVICE MANAGEMENT AND REVENUE GROWTH
Reporting to the General Manager and leading a small but professional logistics operations team, the incumbent will oversee all key commercial relationships with existing customers and suppliers for the purpose of optimising service value, as well as developing longer-term strategies for business growth based on desired product lines and respective export gateways.
An existing position with a revised future-focus, the role has a vested interest in ensuring key service levels are continuously met through an engaged and competent operations team. Innovation remains at the forefront of the organisation’s current and future business plans, as does the focus on quality and adherence to the applicable regulatory standards.
The role seeks an individual with proven commercial experience in a senior logistics or supply chain position who is able to provide tangible evidence of their strategic agility and transformational leadership in a medium to large-sized service-orientated business. The ability for the incumbent to identify growth and development opportunities within the existing customer base as well as prospective clients is key, as will the ability to renovate and/or innovate when it comes to service offerings.
